Gettysburg C.A.R.E.S. (Combined Area Resources for Emergency Shelter) provides shelter for our homeless when no other shelter can be found. This is accomplished in partnership with 14 local churches. At our Resource Center, guests can connect with appropriate human services, housing and employment opportunities as well as have access to computers, laundry and shower facilities. Three staff members work with guests to help them achieve identified goals.
