Our mission is to eliminate substandard housing while providing simple, decent, affordable housing to qualified low-income families. Habitat builds a spirit of community and cooperation among our volunteers, supporters and partner families. Homes are sold to partner families at no profit, and financed with a zero interest mortgage. Homeowners invest their own labor, called "sweat equity" into the building of their own home and the homes of other Habitat families.
