Northeast Itasca Rescue, also known as Bearville First Responders, provides free emergency first responder medical services to the Bear River and Togo communities in Northeastern Minnesota. Our volunteer members are trained to provide initial emergency care and stabilization prior to the ambulance arriving. Northeast Itasca Rescue is funded by community contributions, donations, and grants.

The Thrivent Choice charitable grant program engages Thrivent clients with membership and Thrivent Member Networks in providing grants that support charitable activities, furthering Thrivent's mission and its purposes under state law.
