Information from the organization

The WCHF recognizes individuals who have contributed to the Wisconsin Conservation Ideal. Since 1985 some 100 inductees have been enshrined beginning with John Muir ('85), Aldo Leopold ('85) and Gaylord Nelson ('86). The WCHF Campus is located at Schmeekle Reserve near the UWSP Campus and provides a variety of educational displays both in a self-guided or a more formal setting. Each year Thousands of Visitors from all parts of the U.S. learn more about Wisconsin's Conservation Heritage.
