As a membership organization of Christians, we have
3,385 members in the State of West Virginia
who are our owners.
Our purpose is to serve our members and society by guiding
both to be wise with money and live generously. We believe
that all we have is a gift from God and that generosity is
an expression of faith. We succeed when our members, their
families and their communities thrive.

Our members don't just raise money. They raise people
up by building homes, serving food, assisting a neighbor
in need and more. And because we're a membership
organization, members often get together just to have fun.

1,836 members and others participated in
Thrivent Action Team and other member
activities in the State of West Virginia
resulting in 16,675 volunteer hours.
Funds raised through these local activities total
$27,631 which was combined with $26,108
from Thrivent to increase the impact.

377 members in the State of West Virginia directed
Choice Dollars®. Thrivent distributed
$51,826 in charitable outreach funding through
Thrivent Choice® to 57
enrolled congregation and nonprofits in the State of West Virginia .

The Thrivent Financial Foundation provides financial
support to nonprofit organizations in communities that
are home to the members and workforce of Thrivent
Financial.
The Foundation awarded $6.7 million in 2016.
