With a steady Tick Tock, the weeks have passed since the new year and we've arrived at week number six! How are things going in your quest to establish new habits?
During a month and a half we've learned about some tools that can help. We learned how to set goals (write them down, invoke feelings), how to get feedback (tape measure, camera), how to measure intensity (choose a number from one to ten), how people influence you (some help, some hurt), how important variety is (keep changing, keep trying new things) and we finished with the magic of interval training (vary intensity).
A few of these tools look too simple to be useful while others seem like psychobabble. Despite first impressions, I promise you they are all powerful tools.
I leave you with two more tips: first, don't ever, ever, give up, second, accept yourself just the way your are right now.
