I am taking an ethics class. If anyone hears of a story in the news that shows good ethics--people doing the right thing--please let me know. Please include a website if possible so I can read the whole story, too.

Thanks!!!

Will do.

But I became a part of a Good Samaritan modern day parable just the other day. I drive taxi. I was having a busy day because of a recent snow storm. I had just finished a call when I got a immediate call from some female college students. They asked if I could come right way.

When I arrived, there were three female students trying to help two young men who were mobility challenged--one was in a power wheel chair, the other was very crippled. The two young men had set out to go to the local bus station, but had gotten stranded because of the snow. These young women called for a taxi and even pre paid the fare the one man who needed to get to the bus. The other man in the wheel chair said he could get back to his dorm. They gave me a $10 bill, but the fare was only $7. I gave the change to the young man.

Getting down to the bus station, the man I took still had to navigate over some snow berms. I asked him if I could help him and he gladly took my arm allowing him to navigate over the snow.

So, in the story of the Good Samaritan I found myself playing both the donkey (careful, shar) and the innkeeper of sorts.

The day before I had first seen the young man in the wheel chair. He was trying to get on to the street but was prevented from doing so because of a thick four foot berm that was also about four feet thick. I saw four young men digging a path through the berm for the man in the wheel chair.

Both men remarked on the kindness of strangers. Seemed like I witnessed two episodes of paying it forward,

Your story may not have made front page news, but I would like to share it with my class with your permission!

The beauty in doing such acts is everyone involved is happier, the recipients AND the "Good Samaritans" --isn't it awesome that God instilled this in our human nature?

Ethics the conservative that killed the cat in Ark. had good ethics? Typical pin head republican response. Terrorizes Children by killing their pet cat.
If their liberal its ok to kill them Heard that from so of my conservative relatives awhile back. i know they are pin heads you can see the point under their
sheets.

Is there a point to this story or are you just babbling? Because it doesn't make the slightest bit of sense.

Referring to the cat that was killed and the word liberal was spray painted on it and the family pet was dumped on the front
porch so the mans kids could find it . Babble babble its just the doings of some republican nut. It is enough to cause one to babble
for sure. read the news you will know.

I to am taking ethics this semester. I am doing my final paper on the ethics (read lack of) turning corn into fuel for our cars. Read Plan B 4.0 by Lester R. Brown you only have to read the first few chapters to come up with your argument.

Just to qualify myself yes I am in my schools wind program, but I believe in nuclear energy as well as limited coal. I believe in a diverse energy program.

also history prividws many an Example of both ethical and un-ethical behavior

I found this particulary inspiring considering the opinions voiced against the education community now.
