OH--NO!!! The dreaded system maintenance monster is back! How will they change the site this time? They lull us into this false sense of security after we finally stop anguishing about the new changes and just accept them.....then they do something to send us into a turmoil again. Remember the time they changed the colors????

I am formulating a theory that they do this just to make us post things...kind of justifies their existence....hmmmmmm.

OK, since I've mostly lurked for the past couple of years, I'm looking forward to the new hoops we will have to jump through.

Any speculation on what they might be?

How about making us change our passwords every 3 to 6 months like they do at work? But you can't reuse one that you've used this year, it will be at least seven characters, and it must contain one number, one symbol, and a capital.

Question: How many Lutherans does it take to change a lightbulb?

Answer: CHANGE, what do you mean, CHANGE?

Tilly,

If they make us do all that with the password, then I would have to keep a log as to what one I used all of the times before and I would be at a loss for "words". :):)
It was hard enough the first time and I can't even remember that one. That is what happens with age I guess. :D :D

Take care and God Bless

Hey, guys! They do these system maintenance thingies a lot - usually in the dead of night over a weekend. Don't sweat it. You gotta worry when they come on to the message boards and make an announcement about changes coming soon. That'sa when you go "YIKES!"

Oh yeah--that's true, Harriet...I forgot. I still grumble though, every time I have to open a new window to "Join the Conversation." It's all this security software--makes me hold down the control button to open a link in a new window. That's hard to do with the mouse in one hand, the remote in the other...not to mention the popcorn to be munched without spilling crumbs into my keyboard.

Hope everyone is having a nice day...it's raining here in "chicagoland."

Happy Mother's Day to all you "Mothers" out there!
