I have used a template to create a website for our church. The template uses HTML5. The website displays correctly when I view it with Firefox but does not when I use Internet Explorer. I found information online about a fix but that did not work becaue I have to put a link to a javascript in the header. I read where lutheransonline does not read the header info. Could someone take a look and see if there's something I'm missing here? I am using IE9 which does not display correctly. I would appreciate any advice. Our church website is

Thanks you.

When I open the index.html from the template set in Internet Explorer, it displays correctly. So I think the issue is with lutheransonline ignoring the head information. I have tried putting the head info into the body but it still does not display correctly.

Yes you are correct that Lutherans Online is not able to read your code placed inside of the <head> area of your website. Have you tried placing the recommended code inside the <body> of your code?

Lutherans Online is still (for now) using the HTML 4.01 Doctype, not HTML5. That being said, many features of HTML5 won't work yet because Firefox 5, Chrome 12, and Safari 5 web browsers only offer limited HTML5 functionality, and Internet Explorer 9 has even less support for HTML5 features.
