Praying the rain holds off; so far it's a beautiful day. It's always so fun to see the handsome boys and beautiful girls all dressed up. They all go to a local garden for pictures ahead of time, then out to dinner somewhere, then the red carpet parade at prom. It's fun for us parents to take pictures!
All the kids go to a local garden for pictures, and unfortunately, it started raining as soon as we got there, and quit right after we left, so we didn't get as many pictures as we usually do. Thankfully there was a gazebo to hang out in during the downpour! But I got a few good ones. They looked wonderful! I love seeing all the handsome boys all dressed up, and the beautiful girls in their dresses. Also, they have a grand march before the dance, and promenade in as couples, and all the parents stay for that and takes pictures.
Oh, m'gosh, Smiley, he is so grown up from the first photos you posted years ago. What a handsome young man. He really looks like you in the last photo. And the young lady is lovely. What a special night.
Aw, brings a tear to my eye. He is quite a man now, mostly! Still can't get him to put away his clothes or fill out more scholarships She is very lovely; they've been dating about a year and a half. I adore her!
My oldest son was an absolute slob about his room. When he got an apartment just off campus, it was immaculate. When I asked him why he took such good care of the place when he didn't take care of his room, he said, that was your house; this is mine. That just meant he felt the responsibility for taking care of that house was mine, not his. And he's still Mr. Clean today.
